Q. How late can I make a booking?

A. Generally car parks can be booked up to 24 hours before your departure, and some car parks can even be booked on the day. As car parks can get full during peak travel times we advise you to book as early as possible to ensure a space is reserved for you. Please perform a search on our website with your correct dates and times to see what is available.

Q. How do I get a copy of my confirmation?

A. Confirmations will be emailed automatically to the address provided upon booking. If you do not receive one, or require an additional copy, please check your junk/spam folders. You can view all of your booking details and re-print confirmations via the "my account" section of our website, available in the navigation bar.

Q. Are cots available for use in double rooms?

A. Most hotels can provide a cot in a double room however some hotels do have restrictions depending on the size of rooms available, therefore this is dependant on the individual hotel. For more information, please contact our call centre on customerservices@aph.com

Q. What time do I have to arrive at the car park?

A. Your time of arrival will be dependent on the location of the car park to the airport and you should check your confirmation for further details. As a guide you should arrive at the car park at least 45 minutes before your earliest stated check in time.

Q. Can adults share family rooms, i.e. 3 or 4 adults in a family room?

A. In general family rooms require adults and children to be sharing. If your party requires more than 2 adults to be sharing, you will need a triple or quad room. When you conduct your search, the booking process will provide you with all available room types to meet suit your party size.

Q. What is Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR)?

A. Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) is a system used by some car parks to allow you to enter and exit the car park. Your confirmation will show if your car park uses this system. When you arrive at the entrance of the car park a scanner will read your number plate, and if you have a booking it will allow you to enter the car park. If you change your vehicle it is important to let us know as this could cause delays when you reach the car park. Q. Why is breakfast not included in my package?

A. As a large number of people using airport hotels take early morning flights and do not require breakfast therefore most hotels do not include breakfast in their packages, to save you money. You can usually purchase breakfast for an additional cost directly from the hotel. Please contact your hotel for further information.

Q. Do I need to advise you if I decide to bring a different vehicle to the car park than i originally booked?

A. Some car parks run on Automatic Number Plate Recognition; therefore, if you are changing your vehicle, please let us know in advance. You can do this online via the following site: https://booking.aph.com/aphmyb/AmendValidate.aspx

Q. Do I have to leave my keys?

A. If you book a car park that provides valet parking or a meet & greet service you will need to leave your keys. Any car park that asks for you to leave your keys will have a secure process for managing car keys and the security of your car.

Q. What is the Advanced Purchase Rate?

A. Some hotels offer an advanced purchased rate, which offers a discount for those booking at least a few weeks in advance of their arrival at the hotel. If you are looking to book this product you should be aware that you can not amend or cancel any hotel booked under the advanced purchase rate and they are non refundable.

Q. What is Credit Card Recognition and E-Ticketing?

A. Some car parks uses a system called Credit Card Recognition or “E-Ticketing” to allow you to enter and exit the car park. Your confirmation will tell you whether your car park uses this system. All you need to do is use the same credit or debit card that you used to make your booking into the entry barrier and then park your car. On your return insert the same credit or debit card that you used to make your booking into the exit barrier to exit the car park. If you make a booking within 48 hours of your arrival time at the car park or if you no longer have the same card you will need to follow the alternative entry procedures as indicated on your confirmation.

Q. Cost of transfers to the airport?

A. Transfers vary in cost., some hotels offer a complimentary shuttle to and from the hotel and others charge a small fee. Please look into the more information section on your chosen hotel for more details - this will also be included in your booking confirmation.

Q. What is the configuration of beds in family rooms?

A. This depends on the hotel, full details will be given on room information in the booking process and on the product details page. If you have any further questions, please read the information on our website, or contact our call centre.

Q. How often are there transfers to the airport?

A. Transfers vary depending on the product you have booked. All the transfer information is included in our product details during the booking flow, confirmation and by viewing the product details on our website.

Q. What if my travel plans change?

A. We understand that your plans sometimes have to change at short notice, for most bookings we allow cancellations and amendments up to 2 days before you depart at no additional cost. Unfortunately, this doesn't apply to non-flex, advanced rate or supersaver options. Q. Why can I not amend or cancel a Supersaver, Non Flexible,or Advance Purchase?

A. Supersaver, Non Flexible and Advance Purchase products cannot be amended or cancelled as they are sold at a discounted price to the standard rate for the car park and are not subject to the standard APH Terms and Conditions of booking. If your plans are likely to change we recommend that you book one of the fully flexible options, which will allow you to amend or cancel your booking as per our standard terms and conditions.

Q. If I book a hotel & parking package where do I park?

A. If you book a hotel & parking package your parking will either be on site at the hotel or at a secured car park away from the hotel. Full details of your parking will be provided in your confirmation.

Q. How do I amend or cancel my booking?

A. Q. Why am I being charged for 8 or 15 days when I am only away for 7 or 14?

A. Most Airport Parking is charged per day, rather than per 24 hour period. So if you depart on a Monday and return the following Monday, your price will include the Monday you arrive at the car park. Some on-airport car parks do charge per 24 hour time period or part thereof. Should your actual entry and exit times change from those that you have book, as this may result in your actual time in the cark park exceeding the number of days you have pre-paid for (or decreasing). This will result in an additional charge, which will be levied by the car park upon exit or if you call us before you leave we can add this to your credit card.

Q. What sort of security is there for my car?

A. Each car park has its own security features in place for your car, and when you get a quote these will be listed under the security features in the car park details. Security features offered by many car parks include CCTV, security fencing, 24 hour manning and barrier control. Many of the car parks we have available are recipients of the Park Mark Award for Safer Parking. This is an award initiated by the Association of Chief Police Officers, and is granted to car parks which have been vetted by the police and have achieved certain security requirements.

Q. How do I get a VAT receipt?

A. All invoice details, including VAT details are included on your booking confirmation. You can view your receipt online via the my account section on our website, accessed via the navigation bar at the top of the page. Alternatively, please emails us on: customerservices@aph.com

Q. What is the cost and availability of breakfast?

A. Where breakfast is not included in the package it can usually be purchased directly from the hotel. Costs vary for each hotel so please check the more information section of your chosen hotel. As airport hotels are aware that guests sometimes catch very early flights some hotels offer an early grab and run breakfast option, please check you chosen hotel for their breakfast times and options.

Q. Will there be a space for me at the car park?

A. This website will only display available parking spaces, so you can be assured a space will be reserved for you once you have made your booking and received a confirmation. Note: Some on airport sites may redirect you to an alternative on airport car park if your car park is full.

Q. What if I return later than the date on the booking?

A. You will need to pay for the additional days on your return at the car park. If you are aware of a change in dates before you leave you should amend your booking in advance. If you are away on holiday when your delay occurs, you will need to pay for the delay when you come home at the car park reception.

Q. Where will my car be parked whilst I am away?

A. Car parking arrangements depend on which product you book. but your car will be parked in a secure, monitored facility. Please read the product information on the website, and your booking confirmation for further information.
